What we collect

We collect what you type into a form on this site: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the message or preferences you enter, and — when you enquire from a specific home’s page — which home you were looking at.

We also record whether you ticked the box asking to receive updates, the page you submitted from, and the time of submission.

If you book a call, the appointment is handled by Google Calendar’s booking page and the details you enter there are collected by Google under its own privacy policy.

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. Map tiles are served by Mapbox, which receives your IP address in order to deliver them, and the site is hosted on Render, which keeps standard server logs.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, arrange a showing or a call, and stay in touch about the home or lot you asked about.

If — and only if — you ticked the updates box, to send you occasional email about Rustic Pines, our other listings, and events in the Hudson Valley. Every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect our response to an enquiry you have already made.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are routed through Zapier into Lofty, the customer relationship system Hudson Modern Co uses, and, where you have opted in, into Mailchimp, which sends our email. Each of those processes your information on our behalf under its own terms.

We may share your information with the builder and with professionals involved in a transaction you are pursuing. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We may disclose information where the law requires it or to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept in our customer relationship system for as long as we are working with you and afterwards for as long as we have a legitimate business or legal reason to keep them. Marketing subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, email hello@hudsonmodern.co or call (845) 209-1834 and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising them. Contact us at the address above and tell us which right you are exercising.

This site does not respond to Do Not Track signals.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and changes

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we change this policy we will post the revised version here and update the date at the top of the page.
